Topps is releasing a Star Wars Empire Strikes Back set in 3D. I have been asked to do sketch cards for the set. I will post scans as I get them approved. I will have a very limited amount of returns if anyone is interested in one. These cards are in Widevision format. The Set will release in May 2010. Voltron Sketch Cards – 5Finity – Voltron Animation Cels

I have been really busy since my heart attack working on a lot of projects and commissions. I wanted to thank everyone who sent their best wishes to me, etc. I recently finished sketch cards for a Voltron set being produced by 5Finity. I was asked to do a special insert set for the Voltron sketch card set in which I did 10 animation cel sketch cards. They are drawn like the cartoon was originally produced. I hand inked & painted my Voltron artwork onto clear plastic cels which were then attached to the official card. I can only show one at the time but will post more when allowed. I will be getting several Voltron sketch cards back if anyone is interested in one. Only 1 cel return. I will have more info posted shortly about the set.

Well if you hadn’t already heard I was in the hospital for a week after having a heart attack so just now getting a chance to post my Topps Star Wars Galaxy 5 Sketch Cards. Well I didn’t want to mention it to much at first when I did a print of this drawing for Star Wars Fan Days III but for those who don’t already know I will have a base card that will be part of Topps upcoming Star Wars Galaxy 5 set. The original artwork for the card was recently auctioned off for charity at Star Wars Fan Days III. Sorry I forgot the winners name but your support is greatly appreciated. It’s a great honor to be part of the Star Wars Galaxy 5 set and glad I had the opportunity to have the artwork auctioned off for a great cause – Polycystic Kidney Disease.

Topps upcoming Star Wars Galaxy 5 set has a vast amount of new artwork to be featured, along with sketch cards and many other inserts. I’ll have more info later closer to the set release date which is to be January 2010.

Steel City Con 2009 Appearance – December 5 & 6.

I have decided to do one more convention this year since it’s not to far away from me. If you will be attending Steel City Con this December 4, 5 & 6 and would like a commission done in advance and pick up at the show please let me know ASAP as I have A Lot of work to do between now and then.
