I am still working on my V.I.P. black and white sketch cards for Star Wars Fan Days III but had a chance to do some color upgrade cards. See a few full color cel sketch cards below. I was very excited to recently be asked to do sketch cards for an upcoming Voltron set. I use to love watching the shows when I was younger and had lots of the toys. I am really looking forward to working on the set. Coming in early 2010! A limited run of 1,299 sketch card packs of everyone’s favorite Defender of the Universe – Voltron. Will post sketch cards when approved.

If you are going to be attending Star Wars Fan Days III please make sure you check out the auction they will be having. Proceeds will be going to PKD – Polycystic Kidney Disease. The Auction will be hosted by Steve Sansweet. I am donating original artwork that will also be on a limited Star Wars Fan Days III Print that will be given away for Free. I am extremely excited to announce that my artwork will be featured in Topps Star Wars Galaxy 5 card set coming out January 2010. The original black and white Boba Fett artwork will be auctioned off at Star Wars Fan Days III. The original artwork is 11”x17” on 100lb card stock. There will be 75 free prints available of the color artwork at Star Wars Fan Days III to help promote the auction.
I am also donating an original hand drawn Cad Bane cel sketch card from Topps Star Wars Widevision set coming out this November.
I want to thank my friends Rob Thomas, Darryl Moran, Gary Haertter and Tony Piccolo of the 501st for posing for the artwork. I will be attending Star Wars Fan Days III in Texas October 24-25 2009 as previously mentioned and will be participating in the VIP Sketch Card Program. I will be doing 25 Star Wars Fan Days III VIP Sketch Card each day. Info on the VIP Sketch Cards was recently posted on the Official Star Wars Fan Days website. See info below. I will be offering full color sketch cards also. If you’d like to reserve one please Contact Me ASAP. The card above is just a mock-up sketch.

The low-down: Each VIP card set (given out free to VIP ticket holders) will contain 5 blank sketch cards that you can use to have these artists do a quick 30 second free sketch for you. So as not to over-whelm any one artist, each participating artist will do 25 free sketches per day. Once they have done their 25, they will have a sign on their table saying they are done for the day, and then it’s up to you to hunt down another artist. This is a great opportunity for you to meet all of our very talented artists! Artists will also be available to ‘upgrade’ your card to include a more detailed sketch, ink, color, etc. Those fees are up to the individual artist and it’s the perfect opportunity to take home a one of a kind sketch card!

Last night I received my blank EFX Stormtrooper Helmet, Very excited. I can’t show anymore photos until its finished and approved by 501st/Lucasfilms. I am documenting it all in HD Video and Hi-Res photos. Will also feature 360 degree views of the helmet. Check back for updates.

I recently worked on producing a set for Monsterwax. The set is Shock Stories. I got the chance to design 3 different pairs of 3-D glasses, Colored 33 3-D cards and designed the ad for Non-Sports Update Magazine ( Volume 20 – no.5). You will also see my artwork on the base card that would have the Credit info. I believe some of the cards were misprinted on the back. Some have the Artist Credits on the back some have list of cards in the set. The card is also embossed and the original sketch was inserted into the set. Info on the set below.
